David Nash was born in County Cork and lives between Ireland and Chile.
His work has been published widely in magazines and anthologies. A Spanish-language children’s book, Bajo Mis Pies, came out in 2020, as did two translations of books on the cultural history of Chile. His pamphlet, The Islands of Chile, came out in 2022, and his first full-length collection, No Man’s Land, was released with Dedalus Press in 2023.
The latter was shortlisted for the Laurel Prize, the RSL Ondaatje Prize and the Pigott Prize, and won the Seamus Heaney Prize for best first collection.
