Learn Irish language lullabies with Fiona Kelleher, and create a personal verse for your child.

In the first part of this workshop we will sing together, connecting and learning lullabies in Irish. We will take time to talk about the words and sounds used and how the lullaby may have the potential to connect singer and listener, singer and child.

The second part of the workshop gives participants the opportunity to be creative and begin the process of creating a lullaby. We will work together to compose a verse for your own child, whatever age they may be. The result may be a work in progress or a completed piece, either way a unique gift for your child. Those interested can prepare some poetry/lyrics in advance, but this is not essential. Irish language poetry and lyrics are welcome. Fluency in the Irish language is not necessary.

Babies and children welcome!
