Wild Threads Creative Textile Artists

This group show is the culmination of a year’s work by this small and perfectly formed group of textile artists. The work is inspired by the landscape that surrounds us, each artist reacting in her own personal way to the majesty of West Cork, for some this means intimate vignettes of everyday views and for others it is the colourful explosions that mother nature throws at us. The work reflects the group's passion for found fabrics, their love of the contemplative nature of hand stitching and the supportive atmosphere in which they work.
