The Bog in the Bale

This project is a series of photographs, taken from January 2021 through to December 2021, of a single group of silage bales, which were located on a hilltop bog in Sparrograda, West Cork. This series shows the many varied colours and textures of the bog and sky through different seasons and lighting conditions. The expression is in abstract form utilizing reflections in the black polyethylene bale wrap, whilst retaining some of the materials qualities.
