Aifric Mac Aodha

Sa bhliain 1979 a rugadh Aifric Mac Aodha. D’fhoilsigh An Sagart an chéad chnuasach filíochta léi, Gabháil Syrinx, sa bhliain 2010. Chaith sí seal ina heagarthóir ar Comhar agus, le tamall de bhlianta, tá sí ag obair ina heagarthóir Gaeilge ar The Stinging Fly agus ar Trumpet, iris de chuid Éigse Éireann. Foilsíodh a saothar ar irisí go leor, anseo agus thar lear. Bhronn An Chomhairle Ealaíon mórchuid sparánachtaí uirthi. Tá sí ag obair ina heagarthóir cúnta leis an nGúm.

Aifric Mac Aodha was born in 1979. Her first collection, Gabháil Syrinx was published by An Sagart in 2010. She is a former editor of Comhar, and the current Irish- language poetry editor of The Stinging Fly and Poetry Ireland’s Trumpet. Her work has been published in numerous magazines and journals, both here and overseas. The Arts Council of Ireland have awarded her several bursaries. She works as an assistant editor with An Gúm.
