Skibbereen Arts Festival opens this year with a trip back to the wild west.
The whole town will reverberate to the sounds of classic westerns for the day with shops displaying artifacts from the period and staff dressed in period costume.
Then at 7pm Bridge street closes to mechanised traffic and becomes Dodge City for the evening with music, street theatre, children’s games, arts & crafts stalls, graffiti artists, gunfights and food stalls.
We finish at 9.30pm a very special performance by Cork group Two Time Polka.
