An Seanfhear Beag le Marc Mac Lochlainn

Tuesday 27th July 2010 - 1pm and 7pm - 5€ - Skibbereen Town Hall No Comment
Seanfhear Beag

Seanfhear Beag

Bunaithe ar scéal cáiliúil le údar Sulanach Barbro Lindgren agus cóirithe don stáitse ag Marc Mac Lochlainn.
Bhí seanfhear beag uaigneach ann. Ní raibh aon chairde aige. Tá sé leis féin go dtí go dtagann madra mór isteach ina shaol. Fásann cairdeas álainn idir an bheirt agus éiríonn an saol níos fearr don bheirt acu.
Is scéal galánta draíochtúil é seo faoi chairdeas. Baintear leas as puipéidí álainn déanta ag Suse Reibisch agus ceol nua chumtha agus beo le Morgan Cooke. Ceol agus puipeadóireacht le Marc Mac Lochlainn, Máire Greaney Daly agus Ionia Ní Chróinín.
Bhí an léiriú seo cruthaithe le cabhair an Comhairle Ealaíon.
Tá áthas orainn ag Branar go raibh muid in ann a bheith ag obair le Bjarne Sandborg, de chuid Teatre Refleksion, a d’oibrigh linn mar chomhairleoir ealaíne ar an dtogra seo.

Based on “The Story of Little Old Man” by famous Swedish author Barbro Lindgren. It has been adapted and translated by Marc Mac Lochlainn.
It is a delicate tale of the friendship between and an lonely old man and a Dog no one wanted, its told with enchanting puppets and live music.
This touching story is told by Branar with the help of puppets created by Suse Reibisch and Morgan Cooke’s newly composed live music. The show was created with the help of The Arts Council.
Branar is delighted to be working with Bjarne Sandborg, of Teatre Refleksion, who worked in close collaboration with us as artistic advisor on this project.
