Skibbereen once again pays homage to the vibrant fabric of our community that is the arts and once again we have managed to produce an excellent programme of events with many world-class national and international acts coming to town. Value for money is particularly important in these times and as well as the many free events taking place during the week we have tried to keep everything as reasonable as possible. There really is something for everyone this year and we encourage you to come along and support the festival as often as you can – you’re sure to enjoy it! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you think you may have some spare time over the festival we would love to hear from you! We need volunteers to help with certain events so please email us: info@skibbereenartsfestival.com
VISITING WEST CORK:
If you’re visiting Skibbereen for a few days and would like to take some time out away from the festival, call into Skibbereen Tourist Office where they would be happy to advise you on the best places to go for sailing, surfing, kayaking, swimming, eating and drinking in West Cork. 028 21766 www.discoverireland.ie/southwest
This festival would not be happening without the amazing work done by a small group of volunteers who have given a lot of time and effort throughout the year. There’s way too many to thank individually but to everyone who helped in any way at all “Go raibh mile maith agaibh go léir”.
Thanks to those who so generously opened their premises to us for the festival exhibitions:
